Meet our community supporters!

The vendor hall consists of a wide array of merchandise for sale, as well as promotions for products and services.

The participating vendors are strong supporters of our community. We encourage all our guests to stop by and check out their offerings to support those that support us all.

Got a product or service of interest to promote?

If your products or services are of interest the Chub/Chaser and Bear communities, big men of size, or even the gay community in general you should participate on our vendor hall, advertising or sponsorship programs. It is a great way to get your message out and market directly to the community. By participating you can get your products sold, or advertised, or promoted at the event. What better way to let the community know you support it, while also promoting your brand.

Vendor Hall

Convergence 2009 will run a vendor hall during the event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  The vendor hall works very much like an exposition, where vendors will have tables / booths to showcase their products and services.

Tables are open to all business, clubs, individuals who have products and services that are directed towards the community in general. There are few other venue opportunities like the Convergence vendor hall to reach hundreds of gay men of size and their friends.

All different types of business are welcome to participate. Some of the businesses that have participated in the past include: Fashion and clothing, charities, online websites, Girth & Mirth Clubs, media producers (videos and magazines), political and activist groups, other community event organizers, artists, crafts and gifts, plus many more. Adult content and products are permissible. The vendor hall is also a great to launch a new product or market test it with our community demographics.

A limited number of tables are available. Each table is 2" x 6" and will be skirted. Two chairs will be provided per table. Free wireless Internet access will be provided courtesy of BiggerCity.com. If you have your own free standing display, please let us know when you contact us.

All vendors with tables will also receive a free 1/2 page ad in our event program.

  • Sunday 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Advertising

Advertising is another great way to promote your products and services. We're offering advertising opportunities on the event program book and online.  The event program will be a full-color 8.5" x 5.5" booklet. Advertising on the program book includes a free online ad on this website.

Prices:

  • Back Cover: $399.00 (Sold Out)
  • Inside Cover: $299.00 (Sold Out)
  • Full Page (8.5" x 5.5"): $99
  • Half Page (4.25" x 5.5"): $49

Advertisements can be submitted in the following digital formats (in order of preference): Photoshop, Illustrator, JPEG, TIFF. Whenever possible and for best results; Ads should be formatted to the proper print size (full or half page) and dpi (150+).

The online ad should be in the standard "Full banner" (468w x 60h) or "Skyscraper" (120w x 600h) size. The ads should be submitted in JPEG or GIF format with a file size that does not exceed 15 Kbytes. Online ads will be placed in rotation throughout the site.

Sponsorship

Can you do more to support our community? Our Sponsorship program allows organizations or business to contribute to our event. All sponsorship levels can be customized to the needs of every Sponsor. In kind donations are also accepted.

The sponsorship levels are Presenting Sponsor, Event Sponsor, Event Booster. All sponsorships include a free vendor hall table, advertising in our program book and website, and mentions / acknowledgements during our events.
